The NMR is capable of multinuclear and variable temperature analyses. Currently it is set up to analyze liquids. We have analyzed a variety of samples by NMR such as: natural products, synthetic polymers, carbohydrate polymers, and bacteria.

 

 

The Finnigan MAT95ST High Resolution Mass Spectrometer (MS) is equipped with a direct probe, gas chromatograph, electrospray and microliquid chromatograph. These allow the analysis of volatiles in EI and CI modes. Thermolabile compounds, on the other hand are analyzed in ESI and ACPI modes. Tandem MS-MS is performed with the ion-trap attachment. We have analyzed a variety of samples by MS such as: natural products, synthetic polymers, carbohydrate polymers, PCBs, VOCs, soil organic matter, pesticides, surfactants, and others.
