    About me, and why I have a web site...

    I am a full time teacher at the Ateneo de Manila University where I have been (back) since July 1997. My research interests include

    • chemical transformations using enzymes and organisms
    • the interaction of proteins with cofactors,drugs, and other ligands
    • bioinformatics, specifically proteomics/functional genomics
    • the use of computers, multimedia, and internet technology for science education ( that's why I have a web site: to cater to those of you who are my students! )
